Bar art of a pina colada in still life motif accompanied by tropical elements in a tropical, seaside setting. The Pina Colada art presented here was created by Steve Simon from a staged still life for a series of drink art paintings. All of the major elements in the painting are physically connected or "touch" their neighbor from the beholder's vantage point. This is a typical still life tactic used to suggest integration of each element with the whole. In this tropical drink artwork the tactic is employed to connect the variety of tropical elements under the umbrella of the experience of enjoying a pina colada. Fresh fruit, colorful flowers, gentle music, windows opened to tradewind breezes, gentle waves lapping on white sands, calming ukelele music, and, of course, a drink parasol corroborate in a symphony of the senses, each seemingly uttering the phrase "relax and enjoy."

I'm in heaven!!!!!! Here, the skies are gray, there's a chill in the air, and winter is coming ... but in your artwork I feel the warm sun, hear the waves, smell the salty tang in the air and my eyes ... my eyes are dancing with color and light!!!!! What a delightful, delicious work of ART!!!!!
